Maybe I'm asking for too much.

exhausted. don't want to see hear talk to anyone. if resuming school doesn't reaffirm the satisfaction i felt about everything, that this summer ruined, i don't know what will.

knoxville this weekend-- I need a long drive to myself and to be with my sister. She doesn't always get me but she helps me forget.

So I've been out of school for a month and already I'm irritated at home and with friends and shit. For the most part though, Summer is going amazingly. I'm sad because my sister came home from school for a couple of days, then went on vacation for two and a half weeks, came home for three days and went back up to Knoxville. April feels so good.

Scott and I ventured to Harrisonburg, Virginia this past weekend. An 8 hour and 30 minute drive.

We went because of MacRoCk '08, a music festival held there every year by James Madison University, and in recent years they've evolved into showing primarily kick ass indie-rock bands.

I have so much to do for school within the next two weeks and it sucks.
In two weeks I have a paper due and three tests. We edited our rough drafts in class yesterday, so I'm going to try my best to finish that this weekend. Oh, and as extra credit for my history class I can write a paper on "Animal Farm." Which I am also going to try and start this ( Read more... )

It is fucking amazingly gorgeous outside. It's almost overwhelming. It's totally Spring and I like Spring for flowers and the sunlight and the wind and being able to sit on porches late at night without freezing. I just got back from an utterly relaxing trip to Scott's cabin in the mountains of Gatlinburg. It was fucking gorgeous. I need to get film developed; took a bunch of pictures of the foliage and the mayhem with my fisheye. Yaay! Janine and Russell came along and I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to spend my Spring Break with.
