Ryszard Kapuscinski. One of my favourite Polish journalists/ writers. A wonderful, warm person. One of the most brilliant minds of the last century...died of cancer only 74 years old. We went to Skansen yesterday. The Christmas spirit surely lives there. It's a magical place. We bumped into my Japanese friend Kanako and her friend from Stockholm University, as well as Sandra, my teacher in Norwegian Literature. What a fantastic day!
