There is, apparently, some sporting event or other today. I suspect it has something to do with Tom Riddle, as the organizers get very touchy when someone tries to actually use the name of the thing. Fortunately, a simple slide of one letter to the left produces Superb Owl, a much more glorious thing to celebrate

I'll be recuperating from a stomach bug (not sure yet if it's an insect or an arachnid) and playing way too much Drakensang inbetween "border runs" while my wife and her brother watch the sporting event. I might even watch a little TV at some point...

I expect I'll be working at the sewing machine… Most of the housemates are out of town, so there's no pressure to hang out in the living room (I'd only be watching for the commercials anyway). Hope it's a good game for those who like such things!

ETA - okay, I admit it.. I did turn on the TV for a bit while eating dinner. I re-watched The End of Time pt 2.
