When I was a little girl (doesn't that make me sound OOOLLLLDDDD?!), rice cracker mix was called "Oriental Mix". Now it's usually simply labeled "rice crackers" or something similar.

I thought it was humorous for WFs to call it "Politically Incorrect Mix" since the old name most certainly is!

That's funny! I still see foods labeled 'Oriental Flavor,' but it's nice to see that at least Whole Foods has changed the name. What, exactly, does an 'Oriental' taste like?

PS by lucky I mean you're both younger than I and untainted by many of the old racially & ethnically abusive names that were used for all sorts of foods, music, dances, clothing etc prior to the Civil Rights Movement. There were some lulus that my grandparents used to say. (Two were born in the 1800's and the other two were born just after the turn of the Century)
