I'm glad to read life seems to be settling into a new routine. I can't believe the nerve of that raccoon! My ex once found one sleeping in his bed (!!!) after it had made its way into his house when he left the garage door open. I don't know who was more scared that night: him or the animal, but he never left the garage door open after that. Be careful of the raccoons, they are super cute but they can be incredibly aggressive. I have a couple of clients who live in the same area and their cats have been terrorized by the local raccoons. One of them went so far as to "rehome" the raccoon after trapping it in his yard by driving it across the peninsula and releasing it. I hope it didn't find its way back though...

Have you seen Michelle Pfeiffer around? She lives in your town. And if you've not been to Buck's or the bakery yet, they are well worth the trip down the mountain. :o)

Jess thats funny. i had one that had moved in when the ex and I were away for a couple of days. Poor Minke had been living it rough in the garden and the raccoon had gone ape shit and wrecked the house. we thought it was a thief at first broken in and ramsaked the house. but then saw the upturned food and water dishes and the paw prints all over the place.

It really sounds like a nice place, save for the raccoons in the house.
