Hey, at least they're willing to try. It takes a lot of guts to look at your life objectively and admit to which areas are making you unhappy and need to be improved upon.

I think resolutions are really brave.

Besides, the changes we all try to make are usually small ones, so it's really hard to define your successes. That's why you only ever hear about failures.

There is a difference between finding your unhappiness and changing it. People seem to lack the motivation to act. What good is pointing out flaws if you don't change them?

See, the thing is that people never resolve to do anything fun. You know? It's all diet-this and quit-that. I bet people would keep resolutions to smile more, or eat more candy. And they'd probably feel better about themselves, too.

Resolution... goal... I thought they were the same thing...! Maybe they won't last all year, but at least I'm gonna TRY! Make a GOAL then if that makes you feel better, I don't care what you call it. And if you don't have any ideas, I've got PLENTY of suggestions. hehe.
