Last time I posted something about being in the middle of exams, those are by now bygones and but a vague memory.
They turned out pretty well this time: three 15's, a 16 and a lonely 18 (out of 20 each time of course).

Two days ago now, on the 19th, Andrew and I celebrated our first anniversary.
He had to work of course, but the evening before he'd made sure that everything was nice and clean for me to study in, so sweet.

I can't believe how cold it's gotten. Actually, after such a cold and rainy August it shouldn't come as a surprise really. But still, this is something we're not used to anymore. It's now between about -9 and -3 C at night (15 - 20 F) and around freezing temperatures during the day. Plus that wind cuts like a knife.

My exams are over. My last one went very well indeed, I had a nice talk with the professor about how to improve the Standard Dutch speech of our university students. Oral exams are a lot more fun once you've passed BA 1 and 2, and the teachers start seeing you as an intelligent human being ( Read more... )

Today was English Literature Older Period, I reread all the 4 plays we needed to read, and I think I did alright. I had to run out for some yarn right after so I can finish that scarf. It's getting so big the poor kid is going to drown in it ( Read more... )
