Oh I liked this so much. You've actually made me like Riley. I was always kind of neutral toward her. But I like the way you've written her very much. Excellent imagery. Excellent descriptions of the newness of the old world. I loved how Riley's happiness was so tied up in Jesse and John and that she cared much more about little things inn the world than she maybe cared for John Connor.

My one nitpick (since criticism helps etc) is that you've got an instance or two of non-american slang. But that's really nothing to worry about I suppose.

Excellent work, I hope to read more from you soon.
