I've had a lovely weekend. We travelled to Bristol to see Unit On perform with daughter proudly sporting her new t-shirt with their logo on it. We were greeted with hugs (well daughter, I just got a hand shake and a peck on the cheek) and looks of amazement as even the band hadn't seen their own t-shirts before. they played an excellent set ( Read more... )

got a letter from the practice nurse today. the ear swab showed up an infection so I've got to go for blood tests - fasting ones too, so no food for me for hours. can't go until at least Tuesday though cos Monday is the day I go to Reading. so excited. please will someone remind me to call the practice to book an appointment on Monday ( Read more... )

saw the practice nurse this morning as my GP is on holiday. she's taken a swab of my ear (ow) and given me steroid drops for my nose and more spray for my ears. let's hope this works as I am sick of it. as I suspected people are on my case this morning, emails galore waiting for me when I got back. not going in though as we both have hospital ( Read more... )
