I finished thank you notes and the "Conzelman Family Calender" yesterday after work... and studied some Spanish for an hour-ish. I love the feeling I get after a productive day! So, things are going fairly smoothly with my grandparents so far. I'm able to slow down and get things done at my own pace, during weekly visits. It has been so much easier since I got POA status. I am very happy with my decision to work in the medical field. As I watch the numbers on Wall Street plumet, and hear about 100 people showing up for a minimum-wage paying job at a restaurant downtown, I realize I'm going to be in a much better position than most. Yay! Our marriage license came in the mail today!! Now I can work on actually getting my name changed... a long process from what I'm told... though I'm thinking about putting it off until I get a job and go through the PA state licensure paperwork... it would be a lot simpler to just file a name change after already being licensed ( Read more... )
