All moved in now, and finally have internet access! I love this apartment, perfect size for 2 people. The moving process was arduous, and the KY portion was icey and slushy. Yesterday I got back from 5 days in Etown. I brought my Papa home from the rehab center, took my Nana to the doctor to get her back on thyroid medicine and hopefully improve her mental function, and made sure they were generally safe at home with everything they would need. Drove back from KY today with Jason... I drove up on Mon. afternoon to see Jason (who was left there over the weekend when I came home to work), and visited my Nana on Tues. I'm so appreciative of Atlanta's perpetual warmth. It was so strange to leave 24 degree weather in IN to arrive 9 hours later in the 70 degree weather of ATL. Unfortunately, I think Jason picked up a stomach bug somewhere along the way. I just dropped Jason off at his interview in Muncie, IN... I'm glad we made it here safe! It's quite a winter wonderland here. The drive from Lexington was supposed to be 3hr 45min., but it took us 4 due to a closed road, icy conditions, and really really slow traffic. Dangit, my grandfather had just returned to the rehab center last Fri, and now he's back at the hospital again =( They said his blood count was low, so they're giving him some blood. He was doing so much better this time too...
