About two hours ago the Christmas tree fell over. Neither Mom nor I were asleep, so we both made our way down to check on it. All the imperative gifts have been purchased, save one, for my great-aunt. I have things for my parents, my uncle and my grandmother, but I've had trouble finding something for my great-aunt. Just as a note, I haven't actually been listening to "I Can Change" as sung by Saddam Husssein for the past nine entries. As much as I like the South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut soundtrack, this is just because iJournal is stupid and doesn't automatically update the "Current Music" field.

I packed up at W at around 12:30 am. Just before I started putting my laptop away my waitress suddenly asked if I was originally from Toronto. This ruled me out as being the person I reminded her of, except that she's from Nova Scotia. We moved into TV mode. Everyone is sitting in the living room watching dad channel flip. I thought we'd ended up on Law & Order, but now we're flipping again. I've stepped outside the circle by sitting at the dinning room table (which isn't too far away in this "open living room/dining room concept").
