Francescu likes Panthera quite a bit; probably his second-favorite Wraeththu, Swift claiming the top spot. Thea's pleasant to talk to, isn't bothered by him, and is generally a good friend. The fact that he approves of Ken and is important to several of Fran's people is a major plus.
Chloe only really vaguely registers, but the impression is positive -- nice girl, dedicated to what she does, important to Clark.
Omi...this would be the long one, yes. First and foremost, Omi's one of the three or four people that Fran would kill or die to protect. The top slot is and always will be Ken, but Omi and Sophie juggle #2 between them a lot (and it's always close). Fran trusts Omi, and is comfortable talking to him about anything -- except if it has to do with Ken. And even then there's a lot more comfort than you might expect, given that he's sitting on some...interesting issues that occasionally flare to life. Omi's one of the few people who he's secure enough around to play and screw up and otherwise
( ... )
Panthera and Francescu are pretty much mutual with the respect and trust, I think.
Chloe thinks Cescu is fine and would probably talk to him more if she wasn't distracted by shiny superheroes.
And then there's Omi. Francescu would never have hit Omi's radar at all if it weren't for Ken, which is what makes their closeness so amusing to me now. And a good deal of the value of their relationship is the way Francescu has relaxed around him-- he doesn't see many people who trust him that way and it's...special. Omi's not as open with Francescu for a couple of reasons, one of the big ones being Ken. He...he's come to rely on Francescu, a lot, to help with Ken's 'care and feeding', and I don't think he's quite ready to admit to others that he can't take care of Ken alone, though he's well aware of it
( ... )
Superheros are shiny. Fran's sort of getting drawn into that whole circle, ironically.
Yeah, it's really sorta mutual with the being-brought-together-by-Ken thing. XD (And the eternal irony is that he sometimes feels so inadequate, with Ken. O Fran.)
Well, they definitely have time now. And it amuses me to see how much the barriers against them all being together are artifacts of misunderstanding or assumption. But yeah, eventually it'll happen. And they've got all the time in the world. ...heh. There are so many things that Fran does without realizing it that are randomly UST-y. Poor Omi. XD
Pretty much the same place! Though Wiccan is an official apprentice now, so Fran should tag him more; he looks out for the people he teaches. Imoen is still the eighth Gargamel, and Noroku is still a mild annoyance.
I assume he has -- I didn't tag into that post because I was all kinds of distracted that day, I think, but if nothing else Sophie probably told him offscreen.
Francescu hasn't really interacted with either of your others, so! He likes Tatsumi a lot and respects him just as much; not as much for power (because honestly, living with Daddy pretty much divorces the concepts of power and respect) as for rationality and good sense. He...might go to Tatsumi with his own problems, since Tatsumi's made some tentative overtures in that direction recently. He senses that it might be awkward, but it's also important to respect that kind of thing.
Awkwardness level depends on the subject! I'm using both the manga and anime as canon, so there are multiple instances of Tatsumi talking to Hisoka (about Tsuzuki, no less) and being a listening ear and source of reasonable advice. It's just another way of helping, and if there's anything that makes Tatsumi feel validated, it's being of use to someone. And status-wise, Francescu is sort of like Hisoka, insomuch as he's someone whom Tatsumi respects as an equal (and, where appropriate, his better) but still feel responsible for, because for all of his knowledge and crazy-ass powers, Francescu is still a kid
( ... )
Yeah, Fran has that weird dynamic going where sometimes he's ageless and wise, and sometimes -- especially and always where his heart is concerned -- he's about sixteen, maybe seventeen. |D
...did you see what Fran gave Tsu for Christmas? It's basically a bricklike hint -- "when your business in your world is done, bring Hisoka and Tatsumi and come to us."
...it's not like you don't KNOW THIS, sister, but.
Honestly, Sophie's the simplest relationship in his top three -- which, given that she's family, is sort of ironic. He loves her and wants her to be happy and enjoys her company; they've both more or less put aside the things that lay between them, it seems, and they look out for each other and work together when they can. He's starting to get to know her people, as she's starting to get to know his -- must introduce you to Tsu sometime, sister.
It's always good when the family relationships are simpler than non-family ones when it's our family, yes. For a certain value of good.
But yeah, that pretty much sums it up. Sophie's feelings about Fran are really pretty simple. She loves him, wants him to be happy, and this means that she'll fuss and occasionally interfere in his life and expects him to occasionally interfere in hers. She still sees him as being fragile, although recent events are bringing to light how fragile she can be as well. They kinda suck at helping each other on that front sometimes. Her feelings on his people are generally more complicated than her feelings for him. And yes, she needs to meet your other cast, because it's kind of worked out that he's gotten more face time with the boys. Poke me and I will jump you someday when you're out with your people.
Violet's one canon relationship that's basically stayed the same. Francescu might be closer to other people than he is to her, now, but she's still Violet, still his older sister who he loves. He's glad she made it here and is settling in, and glad that she approves of what's happened to him and of his boyfriend.
There's not really much to say in reverse 'cause it's kind of simple, really. Violet loves each of her siblings unconditionally, and Francescu is definitely no exception. She loves the fact that he's happy, and she enjoys watching him interact with his people. Which may not be immediately evident, but it's true. Francescu interacting with people, especially in happy ways, brings great joy.
