The definition of believe is “To accept as true or real.” To believe is just to accept. To hold beliefs you must believe. The definition of a belief is “The mental act, condition, or habit of placing trust or confidence in another.” So now you are placing trust to believe people who tell you about your god? You believe what people tell you.
