im fairly certain that that is a modified windshield screen to keep the sun out, which is fun because we keep talking about getting one :O)

I wonder how difficult it would be to swap out the fabric for a longer length (if necessary, depending upon cube size) and then use multiples to create a roof as well for the cubicle, thus cutting the glare from the "sun"/fluorescent lighting.
