C. mentioned in passing a desire for me to write down the rules I have for myself, no doubt because I have mentioned their existence on more than one occasion. Because I am in a reflective sort of mood tonight, now seemed as good a time as any.

One day remaining until I start my cross country train trip. Unfortunately, I'm about as organized as I usually am at this point in the process. I'll need to adjust my list of things to do before I leave down to the point where it will actually fit into the time I have remaining before I leave.

Perhaps that was a bit too dramatic. Today merely marks a milestone. Today I was asked if I qualified for the senior discount. In response to my apparently confused look, the clerk clarified that she was asking if I was 55 because I have grey hair. >_Where's the good news in this? Apparently, it is now important to have multiple phone charging mechanisms. I believe I left mine at the office. I have 2 more hours of calls, only 37% battery remaining, and one appointment here at the house before I can go back to the office in search of it.

I recently had the same dream three nights in a row. In looking back at what I've written here, it seems that this became somewhat of a repository for odd dreams for future reflection.

I had considered going out of town for my birthday, but that doesn't appear to be possible as I have an appointment on Friday night, and another commitment likely on Saturday afternoon.
