It was a rather warm afternoon at the beginning of summer. The sun knows little mercy at this time of the year, and Allen was almost glad as soon as the cool breeze of the air conditioning system hit his face once he sets foot in a small coffee shop he worked for

The day was hot as fuck. The din of traffic screwed with his head; the sound bouncing back and forth in the inside of his cranium, creating the start of an epic headache in the base of his skull.

He rounded the corner and escaped into a cafe he usually visited when the day reached certain amount of fuck-up and he needed a cup of coffee and an actually functioning air conditioning to feel like a human again.

"You again?" Kanda let out as soon as he saw Allen in the counter. The last thing he wanted to see was this annoying beansprout of a barista.
