vacations
Took off this last Thursday and Friday to go camping. It was a little cold and a little truncated.
And we stopped in Madison on the way home, and we found one of the more unsettling mascots for a food chain, ( Rocky Rococo ) -

I stopped by my old Starbucks this morning for the first time in about six months. As much as some of the staff is changing constantly, some people have been there for many many years and it's kind of wacky (and nice) to be able to walk in some place I haven't been for so long and recognize everyone there. 1) I haven't posted in forever. I keep thinking I'll have something entertaining to talk about and make this really glorious post about that's coherent and doesn't have run-on sentences and isn't an ordered list, but that just never happens. Anyway, happy valentine's day everyone!

So hey, here's the short stop-motion animation thing I mentioned I made the other night. Basically, we had the nice camera and I still have those failed attempts at cake toppers sitting around the apartment and I thought "Hey! Those little dudes + camera = stop motion!"

Back in January, Brian bought a nice camera so they could finish filming the musical, and just this last week, we got the camera back for our own use (we also got the footage from our wedding. that's... a thing.
