It's an interesting phenomenon these days that young adults don't take the time to become Men, but rather decide that they already are men and leave it at that. The new Northanger Abbey movie was quite good, though I have not read the actual novel. Still, it was a bit like Sebby's explaination of it all those years ago: Madame Bovary with a happy ending.
