1. Where is your cell phone? by my left leg, here on the couch.
2. Your significant other? north carolina, for the moment.
3. Your hair? on my head.
4. Your skin? on my bones and muscles. oh, are we off of "where" questions now? my skin is olive-colored and i'm starting to acquire a tan. (and my hair is brown, except for the bleached tips where the purple washed out.)
5. Your mother? on the road back home, having left my house about an hour ago. it was a good visit.
6. Your favorite thing? hell, do i need just one? okay, fine. driving through the mountains of colorado on a sunny day, intense blue sky, soundtrack of my life playing, sharing the beauty of the moment with the one i love.
7. Your dream last night? involved, but i don't remember it - i just remember there was a lot to it.
8. Your favorite drink? i dig me a leinenkugel sunset wheat. (btw echo, amaretto (no sour) + dr pepper = teh good.)
9. Your dream/goal? editing for a science magazine or a university press. basically, being kate wong, actually.
10. The room you're in? living room.
11. Your ex? exes, i've got a few... (most of them are pretty awesome, actually.)
12. Your fear? being a salieri. good enough to know i'll never be great.
13. Where do you want to be in 6 years? colorado.
14. Where were you last night? at riverblast downtown, watching ivan neville's dumpstaphunk and delbert mcclinton, and then back here watching the dixie chicks on austin city limits.
15. What you're not? i'm not your king of comedy. i'm not your magazine. i'm not your television.

19. The last thing you did? looked to see wtf song was starting. (hotel california, but it was a live version, so it caught me off guard.)

6. a copy of The Man Who Mistook His Wife For a Hat, by Oliver Sacks (or perhaps, instead of Oliver Sacks, include Lucy by Donald Johanson)
7. my photo album about the family cabin in colorado
8. any eudora welty story, because they all pretty much describe my mom's side of the family
9. the album of photos from my paternal grandmother's tv show, because that explains a lot about my *dad's* side of the family
10. a photo of me and my sweetie kissing at his graduation from the air force academy
