My goodness, what a fantastic - no, AWE-INSPIRING - landscape! So dramatic and stark, yet something about it makes you (me) want to climb it. What kind of elevation are we talking about?

The park information brochure said we started at 2,500' and climbed to almost 6,000 in 2.5 miles. It was quite a climb for two guys in their mid 50's.
