Thanks for the link. I've used it several times, and figured I should finally get around to telling you how useful this post has been for me.

Will a stamp taped to a letter work? I have several stamps that will not stick, but have not been canceled.

Stamps cannot be taped on, or otherwise covered. You can use a glue stick to glue them in place. I'm glad you are finding this link useful.
