Postage rate increase May 11, 2009
On Monday, May 11, 2009 (the day after Mother's Day) the price for a 1-ounce First Class Mail stamp will increase from 42 cents to 44 cents. Prices for other mailing services will also change. I am amused and confused...
... by people who put obviously excess postage on a letter. Such as an extra two cent stamp next to their forever stamp. The two cents is not enough for a second ounce, and the letter is less than an ounce anyway, so it's extra revenue for the Postal Service ( Read more... ) -
