I had a most fantastic weekend in Montreal. I saw friends, I heard a great recital, I ran into people in the music building left and right- and it didn't feel at all like I'd been away. Congratulations. How many years is this program?

Well...I'm accepted for the prerequisite year of technical courses required to enter the MMus recording program. I'll have to re-apply for the MMus next year. So if I get into that, it's another two years. So...3 total.

Good luck, Shauna! Prepare for a year of sleep deprivation. ;) If the professor you met with was Kent Walker, he's cool and seems to know his stuff. I played in one of the Q-year recording classes this year.

Thanks, David. Actually I met with Wieslaw, since he's the big cheese and all. I don't know Kent (yet), but don't worry, I'm sure I will in my sleep-deprived state.....if my letter makes it through the admissions red tape, that is....
