Title: Looking for a Happy Ending Author: firefly_caPairing,Character(s): Kurt/Blaine, with eventual appearances from pretty much everyone

Wow, what an intense, heartbreaking ride. Blaine's relationship with Stevie just made my heart hurt, and his determination to help him and get out, and his realization of the truth thanks to Kurt's words and Stevie's predicament, and the things he was willing to sacrifice in order to save the both of them... just... guh. Tom is so creepy and terrifying and just psycopathic, with his total disregard for the fact that Blaine--and Stevie--are human beings with needs and pain. And Blaine's terror about meeting his parents... I'm terrified for him. Holy crap.
You've written this so, so well. Thank you so much for telling this story in such a careful, visceral way. You're just absolutely wonderful. Here's to hoping the epilogue doesn't kill me. (And the sequel? If I'm remembering some of your author's notes correctly?)
Thank you so much for commenting! I'm glad you liked it!
Yes, there is going to be a sequel, which will be much less icky and bleak, but still pretty angsty, all things considered. It will be posted much slower, but keep an eye out for it! I'd like to get the first part up some time this fall.
so i never comment on anything. like ever. but this story is so like oh my gosh and heartbreaking and i can't stop reading it. it makes it so much worse to know that this is based on a real kid. i can't even imagine being put in that situation. so i should have realized that it was going to be stevie, but for real that completely threw me. my jaw dropped when he said his name was stevie evans.
I NEED TO KNOW HOW THIS ENDS. PLEASE POST SOON!!!!!!!!
Thanks for commenting and I'm glad you're enjoying the story :)
And don't worry! I will try to have the epilogue up by the weekend. I've already got a pretty good piece of it finished, it just wasn't fitting properly into the last chapter so I had to give it its own section.
I feel like I didn't draw a breath the entire time I was reading this section. Just. God, Blaine, and Stevie, and Blaine's doubt at the end that his parents will even want to meet him. I have ALL THE FEELINGS about this fic, and I can't wait for the reunion with Blaine's parents.
