Thanks for the comment (and sorry for the long wait before I answered - too many essays this semester)!

There will probably be some more in this verse going up at some point. I've been playing around with a few ideas, and they're on the back-burner for now, but I AM planning on doing something :)

ok. so I found this story (the prequel, actually) yesterday. I have since had to sleep and work, but aside from those unfortunate events, I have been reading non-stop. This is brilliant.
I love that you actually took the time to lead Blaine from angry, deeply troubled teen to on the way to recovery rather than going the easy route. Most stories of this type tend toward the Magic!Healing!Cock. he's all broken and sad, then they have sex and everything is good again! I'm really glad you didn't go that way.
I also really adore the awkward sex... it feels so much more real than what most people write, and so much more important.

I wish I could give you a proper comment, but can I just say that I cannot believe I hadn't read this till now, and it is brilliant. Absolute gold. Please never stop writing.

Thank you so much! And sorry that I took so long to answer you - it was my last semester at university and I guess one of the rules before they let you graduate is at least one semester of absolutely no spare time ( ... )

Wow. I've been keeping an eye on this story for the last few months, watching how gently and carefully you've pulled this story and these characters together into something solid and lasting.

To be honest, I'm a bit overwhelmed to say anything insightful but I've really enjoyed this story. Thank you for putting the time and effort into writing it and sharing it with us.

I am speechless truly at how good this and the previous story are. Excellent. Your writing and sensitivity to these characters -- to Blaine -- is just divine. It was just right. Enough detail to break your heart without tipping into too much. Of course, you are right to warn as you did because the subject matter is deadly serious. And heartbreaking because such horror does happen.

Yet Blaine was so well realized. So full and rich and the best part is that flicker of hope that made him shine from the inside out. It's the part that Kurt saw and it's what makes this such a lovely love story.

I would welcome anything further you might choose to do within this verse. But I have to say that they are wonderfully complete. That's the best kind of writing. Leaves the reader satisfied and better for having read but still is open for more if the writer is so inspired :)

Thanks so much for commenting!

I'm happy that you commented on the hope in Blaine throughout the story, because that was something that was really important for me to get across - that it didn't matter that these horrible things where happening to him and re-defining him as a person, because absolutely nothing is strong enough to fully take away who a person is. There's always going to be something inside them that makes them their own person and not just their experiences. I mean, a person is changed by the things that happen to them, but they aren't created by them. If that even makes sense. I can't quite tell haha.

And yes, there will probably be some smaller stories in this verse posted eventually, but it won't be right away, so I'm glad you think they hold together nicely on their own, because there will be a bit of a wait :)
