So, afer 6 weeks of sweat and tears I can proudly announce that I dropped 4% body fat! I'm getting back to being the same size as I was while running on track in college. I swam an entire mile today at the gym without (major) stops! Just enough pause to catch my breath at each lap! whee!

My gym is doing a "Biggest Winner" thing, where you sign up and earn points for things like each time you come to the gym is a point and every pound lost is 7 points and such. I heard back from my raise proposal! so, last year I got a 3% raise, which is pretty much on par for cost of living increase. This year I submitted a raise proposal showing how under-paid I am, and how I feel I deserve a raise. I even included graphs and quotes. heh ( Read more... )

Jerry gave me my first birthday present .... a nook! I'm acutally more excited about it than I thought I would.
