The store we had planned on buying our kitchen cabinets from had this huge sale for 50% off the normal price a couple weeks ago - well, still going on actually- and so I splurged and bought most of our new cabinets. So, a few weeks ago at Wasapalooza we were racing razor scooters and I went too fast and flipped over the top/side? and broke my elbow. totally ruined my record, its my first broken bone ever! luckily, the bone didnt move around once it fractured and just stayed in position so I dont need a cast or surgery, just a sling for the next 4-6 weeks. My rose bush is blooming! I have two little buds poking their heads out of the stalk, and my dirt patch has become my green growing patch. This weekend was amazing weather, and it was so nice to have sunshine and be able to sit outside and not wear a jacket. :)
My little flower plot is starting to pop up some greenery, super exciting!
Also, I'm hoping to hear some good news from Jerry this week, lord knows we could use some for him.

Yesterday we rented a tiller and managed to tie it down/into the trunk and tilled up our front yard/patch all over the place! We also grabbed a few bags of manure and peat moss to help put some much needed extra help into the ground and tilled that as well. I went shopping this last weekend to pick up some seeds in order to spread them out in the "hellstrip" - which is the strip of dirt/grass between the sidewalk and street.
