Someone (I'm not going into the context because it doesn't really matter) commented the other day that he expected that a girl he knew wanted to have sex with him because she was on the Pill

If you (or if not you, at least most people) see Prozac in someone's medicine cabinet, you'd probably assume they were depressed, not that they were taking it to lose weight (which people do). Guys don't know ANYTHING about how periods work, so it makes sense that he'd assume it was for contraception
( ... )
So, why then, is there this so prevalent view that if a girl is on a contraceptive she's sleeping around? It's the same logic that leads people to teach abstinence-only sex education. So many people believe that children are completely unaware of sex until someone gives them the "birds and the bees" talk. Telling them about it will automatically entice them to do it because now they know that sex exists
( ... )
What bothers me about this situation is the fact that the guy made this information public, as if people needed to know what he was thinking for some reason. A lot of guys in the same situation probably would have been thinking the same thing, but some thoughts are best kept to yourself.
I hope the girl finds out, and then kicks his ass.
