1. Yes 2. All seven, and Quidditch Through the Ages
3. Yes - Roald Dahl books and other children's books (...because when I started reading HP, I was only nine :D) 4. Sure 5. How it presented magic in a completely different way (for example, how riding broomsticks wasn't stereotyped to witches and was actually made into a sport. It was really cool. :D) 6. Yes. I practically grew up with the characters and even after the books, I'm still very much a part of the fandom. 7. Yes. 8. It's a good thing - for any age, I think. 9. I didn't like it. I still don't, but I guess I can understand that it was a way of closure for JKR. 10. I suppose so, yes. :)
1. Yes 2. 1-3 and part of 4 (I got bored about 100 pages in) 3. Yes, I was in High school and I read the first two while babysitting. I was reading a book a day at the time. Everything: Westerns, Romance, Scifi, Fantasy, Classics, Action/Adventure. Fandom wise, yes I was reading fanfic before then (Gundam Wing, Escaflowne, Xena, Sentinel, Outlaw Star, X-Men, Due South, Dogma) 4.Yes 5. Draco and Snape (the snarky and slightly evil) 6. Not really 7. For a few years at least 8. Good 9. Not good, sucky in fact. 10. I don't know. They are good but not on the same level as the Narnia books.
5. All the play it was getting in the news in the beginning was a big part of it, but also, I'm naturally attracted to books with a supernatural element. So when I found out there was magic involved, I was hooked.
6. Slightly. It affected the way I viewed "religious officials" who said the book was devilish because it included magic.
7. It depends in what way. I do believe children years to come will read the books. But will they ever have as big a bash/following now that the series is complete? No.
8. Great thing!
9. ...Eh. Yeah, not so much. Cute how the kids were named, but that's about it. I know it started out as a children's book, but the series certainly didn't end that way. The epilogue should have reflected this.
