i cut my finger with a serrated knife while trying to make a little play tunnel out of cardboard for preggers guinea pig, Autumn.
it required 15 minutes of pressure to stop bleeding...
it's pretty ugly...in a jagged-flesh-wound kind of way...
but it'll make for a lovely scar i'm sure.

ok.
apparently these drugs have already been recalled.
but they have a chemical in them that causes strokes.

this info, may or may not be current, but i'm passing it on anyway, just in case.

so, this is the list of the recalled medications, in case anyone still has any of these in their medicine cabinets.

she's cancer-free!
the pathology said they got all the cancer when she had her surgery, and there is only a 4% chance of cancer elsewhere!
she won't need radiation either!
all she has to do is have a check up on her stats every 3 months or so to make sure no new problems are left unnoticed...
*huge sigh of relief* :)

last night i had a dream that i was trapped in a building that was slowly collapsing...

the guinea pigs are having an outing!
they have a secure enclosure outside that exposes them to warm sunlight,
fresh green grass to munch on, dandelions too!
it's a great experience for them...fresh air and companionship...
what could be better?
