Went to the spa with M on Saturday. The day was very fun, and actually pretty relaxing. It went fine, but I still felt a little humilated having my ugly body so exposed. I won first place for my speech last night. Whoo hoo! Still very nervous, but they seemed to like my use of visuals. Lovely Baby came and helped me set everything up and watched. I was very glad to have him there. This is the first speech he has ever seen me do. I hope he can be there for my next speech- it's the big important one ( Read more... )

I turned 28 yesterday. I had a great, laid back day. I still had to work, but I went shopping, and out to dinner with Lovely Baby in the evening. Went to Lombardi's. Had Capellini Pomodoro. It's amazing the stuff you learn to do that you never thought you would/could ever do. Who knows? At this rate, I might be commanding an aircraft carrier, or piloting that Rocket to Russia next.

I have one parent from Art Camp who is still complaining about her kids stuff. She didn't even show up at the exhibit to pick her daughters work up- she sent a friend( whose son was also in the class) to do it. Now she's complaining that she didn't get all the stuff back.
