good travels
After two days in the car, I have arrived safely at my second home of Mandala House in NY (and in record time at that). The new wagon did very well on the trip, flexing her mpg muscles. I was very pleased. -
That was the easiest move out I've ever done.
Got the apartment cleared out, cleaned and signed off on a day early. Keys are dropped off and I'm done there. I have a week until I start the drive up to New York. More than likely, during that week I'll be buried in my music for the job, but there will also be some socializing and saying goodbyes. I'll let folks know about a possible outing ( Read more... ) -

...I was on a road trip from Albany, New York back down to Texas with a wonderful girl that I had been casually seeing for almost a year at that point. We'd been spending more and more time together, and slowly pairing down the other people we'd been seeing to focus more on each other. Something else I wanted to post. I've been looking in the mirror, and for the first time since ever I've actually been rather pleased with what I see. I started losing weight about 4 years ago.
