I discover that a friend assumingly of Dakkota's opponent's suit that Dakkota is up against in the Fursuit Fracas ( FFFF ) thing, posted a plug for Beefjerky for votes, and in the process called Dakkota a "Dirty sex mursuit " in what appeared

The FFFF is a glorified popularity contest, and some individuals will cross any line to win it. That's why I've always steered clear of it.

Like you said I thought this was for fun. With what happened I would have expected that from a political race not a tourney that was suppose to be set up for fun. I do not blame you for deciding not to participate next time around if that had happened to me I would do the same thing. I also applaud you for your convictions in suit building. Keep up the awesome work!

So very true.
Thats what seems to have happned this year, now in the last stages of this FFFF im getting insulted and slandered by "fans" of my opponent as a last ditch effort by them to garnish votes towards their favourite suit. That is not what fursuiting is about.

I'm starting to feel the same way about FFFF. Last year's tourney left a bitter taste in my mouth regarding how people maintained themselves.
