[ It is somewhat early on into the morning now, but... he cannot sleep. Eight a.m., and he hadn't slept yet. Naoya's sleep habits were always terrible; he wished he could forget everything, sometimes. Right now, most of all, he was likely in a sour mood, as he tended to be in the early morning. He was worried about Hiroki. ]... Tell me, Vatheon... ( Read more... )

You sound bored, Naoya.

[A bit of a cheeky grin.]

Besides, that line between good and evil changes from person to person. You're not going to get a single definite answer.

But you knew that already, didn't you?

You think? Perhaps a little.

[ Oh Matthew, silly smart boy. ] Of course. It's why they answer at all that makes me curious, and the content of that answer. After all, I can think of just as many people who would trust me as they would sooner condemn me. It's a funny thing.

[ ... He chuckles. ] I angered our doctor a bit, too, so I think I can say I'm pleased with the result, nonetheless.

There are worse ways to satisfy boredom than this, I suppose.

But...oh? You got a response from Alpha? Not bad.

[He grins sharply at that.]

Looks like our 'almighty' captors aren't above being baited either.

It would seem not. And it confirms to me that they are in fact just human, when it comes down to it. Funny, how many non-humans we're gathering here... I have to wonder why.

[ He is smirking as well. ]

They were smart to set it up as they did; if I had access to my demons, I don't think we'd be having this conversation.

What's the difference between Angels and Demons?...Hmmm Angels were said to have blessed people in the past.

But wouldn't it be easier to just cause misfortune upon all those who don't believe in the existence of Angels and Gods?

It's a lot easier to destroy things than to create things, right~? This is all just theoretical. A solution I found by looking at things from another point of view. I'd like to call it 'Reverse chessboard thinking'.

About demons....you can't really prove they exist unless you brought one up straight from hell, right~?

Unless you could show me a Demon from hell and then proclaim "Therefore Demons Exist" then I'd just assume it was just an illusion created by your imagination. On the contrary if everyone believes that a Demon exists then it definitely does inside of their mind.

We have no right to trample over their personal space.

If you have the ability to create something, then you could destroy it in an instant. Once you have that kind of power, we can safely assume that you can control it at will.

This of course includes people, nature, anything. It's free game. That means I can rub all the tits I like if I have control over it! Hiihihi!

Of course that's something I wouldn't do even if I am a breast sommelier!
