"If Zero thinks he can keep up with him, and if Zero can keep control of himself like you said, then I'm fine with them coming."
Copy Rock grinned even more. He'd thought he get shoved back to that other world, but this was turning out to be fun little trip - if you discounted the few upstarts that'd happened.
"Oh, I can keep up with a little snack like him just fine."
Zero pointedly ignored Blues' glare and snort, grinning at Copy Rock. Throwing his hands up in irritation -- or something closely related -- Blues looked to Rockman.
"Lead the way, you know where we want to go. Let's pester Roll."
Copy Rock was back to squeaking and trying to go unnoticed at Zero's comment.
"Alright." And with that, Rockman called out the coordinates for the lab.
Now Roll wasn't there when they arrived so Rockman would ask them to wait while he ran off to find her. Copy Rock would find a place to stand and look around that had something to separate himself from Zero.
Zero -- feeling no need to actually chase Copy around as long as he was in potential charging reach -- kept one eye on the other bot but otherwise stayed quiet as they waited.
On the other hand, Blues prowled about the lab and kept an eye out for anything potentially interesting --
Rockman sighed and started slowly walking towards Zero. "Coming, coming. Maybe they'll all be sleeping on the job or something..." He doubted that though. If something was up about this ship, they'd wouldn't be doing anything careless.
The door was a little rusty, but came open easily enough to a- well, it couldn't really be called a hallway but more of a place for the crew to dump boots and hang coats. Beyond that was an open doorway to a living area of sorts, and another door to the left lead outside.
"Strange place to hide cargo, at the back of a giant closet. Maybe we should inspect the crates after all ... Not that I'm an expert on marine shipping."
Musing, Blues eyed the coats hung on the hooks; then he chuckled.
"Of course, we could always use those as a halfassed sort of disguise --"
"I don't know." He padded around the stack. "It looks a little different here," he pointed to an area. "There might be an empty space, but-" How could he check? The space was covered on all sides.
"Hn. Well, we have two options. We can keep trying to scan it, or we start moving crates --"
While Blues was still talking, Zero padded over and began to all but climb over the spot in question, flicking through his own sensor-suite and tracking any stray scent.
Blues wouldn't have stay on edge long - well, at least not without something to focus that edge on - because Rush's ears perked and he came to a stop.
"What is it boy?" A whine and the dog crept forward slowly.
Besides the scheduled route, it had been a lot of nowhere. Nowhere as in, random spots in the ocean that should have been open water. But if the island said anything, it was that not everything was mapped out for everyone to see.
Blues matched actions to words, ready to draw shield and buster in moments as he moved forward.
Perfect --
Now this was interesting. Zero committed the coordinates of the spots in question to memory and kept sifting. Maybe the captain left clues as to what they were moving.
"I'm ready." To dodge if needed. But he was holding back on getting prepped to fire. This was different then going after Wily and his bots.
The closer they got, the more they could hear. It was the crew, or part of it at least.
"How do you know it didn't change the codes? If it was smart enough to take the base, then it could change the locks!" The one getting fussed at only made a shhing sound back.
The crew weren't careless with everything they did and the logs of things being shipped were kept clean of any suspicious items.
Interesting. Seemed their captive -- or someone else, maybe -- was giving the crew more trouble than it was worth. Blues hunkered down a bit and opened up wireless communication again to avoid speaking out loud.
[Sounds like they've been having some problems. Any bets on what they're talking about?]
Ah, well, it was worth trying. Zero did a final circuit of the bridge in case anything else stood out, then headed for the deck.

But Rockman thought he'd give a question a go anyway. "Just where were you the last time we had this little meeting, Needle?"
"Tch. My job, what else."

Zero padded a little closer, checking out the new arrival.
"What job?"

"Is that information really crucial to your investigation?"

"I just want to know if you're edible or not."
"ZERO!!"

Pausing first to listen again, Zero tried the door.

There was just the scent of the crew members and the view of an empty crate amongst the other cargo.
