AC hasn't stepped foot in Smallville in a long time. It's not that he hasn't had the time. Or the means to get there. Or the desire to see certain inhabitants. He's had all of that, some more than others, for several months, but it's easier to stay away from the place that turned his life upside down than visit

Lois is thankfully out today, at the Daily Planet working on some new headline. Or, Chloe suspects, flirting her way to Grant Gabriel's heart. Either way, it means that she's alone.

Alone and lounging on the couch, typing away on her laptop when there is a knock on the door. She rolls her eyes and sighs.

"Seriously, Clark? I thought you outgrew the door knocking."

AC is going to take that as code for 'Come on in', so he does; peeking around the door once it's opened. "Wrong superhero, sweetheart." There's a bright grin tossed in Chloe's direction once he's all the way inside.

"Surprise?"

Watchtower likes it when her boys listen. So his entrance is met with approval. More so, perhaps, because her eyes have gone bright and her smile wide. The laptop is (carefully) thrown on the couch as she stands up to throw herself at him in a hug hug.

"Definitely! Oh my god, Ollie didn't tell me any of you guys were visiting!"

She gets a Look. A sheepish one. "I didn't tell him." Of course, the blond will be easily distracted with a Chloe hug. Those are very nice. He might even dangle her in the air for a few seconds.
