I don't know what you intended this to be like, but it turnerd out to be a soulful moment- like those where you suddenly learn to breathe again.
Even if everything seemed to be wrong for Rei, all confidence and hope drained, his friend was there- helping him to get up and move on. Or at least start to.

I don't know either. I felt like there should be something more It bothers me that I don't know what am I missing and yet feel like there should be more to this. But yes, the general idea of friendship and love is there. You are too kind with your comment.

Ha ha, to tell you the truth I am not sure what I wanted to say about Aoi there. Yes, it seems like I am making him clueless here. It is amusing to make bit fun of him. I didn't know how to write it, but I thought about saying how even usually polite Aoi could make a comment about Reita's girl because she was so truly mean to poor Reita. Yes, you got me babbling :) Thank you for commenting!
