Future Project Thoughts

Aug 29, 2013 15:29

I thought I'd break down where I was on the adult project front, right now. I've already broken ground on the next project, and that's already set in stone, though I don't want to get into that particular one, at the moment. Right now I'm speculating on which of my ideas I'll have for the last project of this year, and then well into next year ( Read more... )

>that's not an invitation to hear ideas

I'm curious why you say this. Is it because you would rather your comics be entirely your ideas? Or is it because the suggested ideas tend to be really bad? :)

It's not that they're necessarily bad. They're usually just... really expected, typical porno things that don't inspire anything specific out of me at all. Really flat, like, "have A hook up with B!" etc.. etc.. like we're sitting around a conference table, spitballing.

I can relate.
Suggestions for porno plots tend to always devolve into orgies between favorite characters without much thought for situations that might build-up to it. Suspense and anticipation are the real meat of a story, not necessarily the end result.

Hello Fisk, I've been a fan of your Adult and Original life comics for some time now. I've been wondering Abotu some of the stories of the characters. Not to be rude. I see some random Comic strip and i would love to know the back story of some of them! Such as 'Samantha i beleive it is, the black and white Cat? And i read your post about the Cottonwine series and was Honestly Suprised by it. Unheard of By Myself. Brownie points for a good job well done. I would also like to state after The comic 'red' I was quite integued by it. Whats the back story. I have been reading original life and dont see any connection to it at all. Could you please Clarify that? As i said before, no offence. I love your work and what you do. Keep up the good job. Thanks. Once again, comment back plase. Thanks (:!

Kind of bummed that the Cottonwine series is on hiatus but I'm willing to wait to you get it set the way that you want. I've enjoyed the first series and Rise of the Wolf Queen created the same level of excitement as the Fall of Red Riding Hood. Since it is on hiatus mabye I can ask this question. How do you think people like werewolves or I guess animal shapeshifters would be treated or handled in your stories. You populate them with both humans and anthropomorphic animal characters and I've kind of wondered about creatures that fall between the two catergories. People that can go from one end to the other. Just wondering what your thought would be on these type of characters trying to live in the worlds that you create.

I really want you do to a Lenore story first--you've teased the potential from the illustration postings done on your Tumblr blog....

I am not familiar with who Mandy is, thought there have been several mentions of a comic with Lenore. I would ask which one you have more fleshed out, as well as who you are more particularly excited about. If all else fails, I would try flipping a coin. It seems kinda simplistic, but which one it lands on is kind of irrelevant. I once heard a saying that when faced with a difficult decision, you flip a coin. Not to see what it chooses for you, but because once it's in the air, you'll know which one you were hoping for. I hope this helps. And as far as alienating your readers with your decisions, I can say that I have enjoyed every single piece you have made, and that there are those of us who, while we do have our own ideas and predilections, will thoroughly enjoy whatever twist and turn you decide to take, because reading a story is as much about learning about the author as much as the story.
