Save the Rock and Roll
Today I saw a new Rock Band peripheral-- an overdrive pedal, selling for $29.99.
This is the lamest thing I have seen all year. Ok, the year is only two weeks old. But the overdrive pedal is that lame.

No Stupid Play on Words Using "Shoe"
Most accounts of the shoe throwing incident are without a translation of what the shoe thrower was yelling. NPR read the translation and the account went something like this:

Last week I got a call from NCO Communications, AT&T/Cingular's collection agency. They said I owed $83 because I didn't pay my last bill when I cancelled my cell service a year ago. I feel dazed. Our twelve days in Europe were much slower paced than either of my visits in the past two years before. White bowls
I picked up a hot tub in San Bruno today, in the most civil Craigslist transaction I have ever undertaken.
