I rescued a squirrel today.  He was over the door of the bank and a teller came to our clinic to see if we could do anything.  He wasn't hurt, just very scared.  He'd been perched up there for some time and would freak out every time the door opened.  I got him down with no damage to either him or me.  He skittered off very quickly, happy to be on ( Read more... )

I got the chance to play a module of 4th edition for last few weeks with my regular DM and I have to say, I'm not very happy with it.  Now, I am perfectly willing to accept that my pessimistic view is from a crappy module, or that my DM didn't interpret the mechanics as the creators intended.  But, I'll let you know what was bothering me about it ( Read more... )

There were quite a few posts from my friends this week with sorrowful news.  A lot of health concerns and scary stuff like that.  I'm not sure why a tragedy makes people sentimental, but in light of these posts I'd just like to say that I hope everyone is doing well and I miss you all.
