I'm writing this here as I'm pretty certain no more than 1, maybe 2, people are still following this feed.

for those of you that don't know, on April 10 the Event Horizon Telescope will release the first picture of a black hole. It was made using a process called synthetic aperture imaging - a telescope took images of the same area of the sky almost every night for an entire year.
