Turns out that Bush and the neoconservatives were right: religious extremists bearing ill will towards our government are a threat to the nation. I was actually talking to my usually not entirely crazy dad about the election, and he made a point of saying that JWs are considering Obama a sign of the "end times" because he's promising "true peace and security." So I guess you can throw that group in with crazies... albeit the harmless ones, since they've been convinced it's the end times forever, and it only results in more Watchtower and Awake articles with colorful illustrations.

I hope that they significantly increase his Secret Service detail. Fundies scare me. At least they won't be in charge anymore! At work, we're all super excited that soon the Bush and Evil Overlord Cheney pictures will be replaced with Obama and Biden!!

What worries me most is what would happen in this country if Obama is assainated. We would most likely have a full scale civil war on our hands at least on the street level. They really need ramp up protection for him and his family.
