I had fun yesterday with a novel length Star Trek fan fic: Vulcan is blown up, the remaining Vulcans seek refuge on a planet which is mostly populated by communities which have experienced the same thing and are therefore welcoming (which isn't what tends to happen, but I was willing to accept it for the purposes of plot) and they set out to seek

Oops - that's what I get for letting it sit unread on my shelf this long. Ha.

This is a book where spoilers are not possible. You know where it's going about 30 pages in. It's still enjoyable tho.

I'm just amused because I had no idea what the book was about, and now, to my surprise, I do. I'd really liked her first one, and a friend recommended this one. Actually, now that I know it's going to be light and maybe even fluffy, I'm likely to read it sooner, rather than waiting until I can give it more dedicated attention.
