Also, Milford workshop 1 - we are running 2 this year, to fit in with overseas visitors to Worldcon: the first week will be 23rd - 30th August, 2014, in Snowdonia.

And fortunately one of the most troublesome Americans is flouncing. Sorry you accidentally "confirmed" his paranoid fantasy that there isn't actually a lottery for the ALoft and that all of the rooms are actually booked for the con committee's "special friends."

It's more unfortunate that I had met him in a congenial setting in the company of someone with serious health issues (Jay) and therefore had assumed he was a reasonable human being.

And seriously: we could not possibly have hotel rooms close enough for a man who thinks a *12 minute walk* is unreasonable for an able bodied person.

Actually, if you don't mind a slight hijack, we'll be looking for cat sitters in August and open to offers from visiting fannish cat-lovers. We're in Cambridge (to the North East of London.
