I agree, my wise cousin. brennie March 20 2003, 22:27:52 UTC
It's a whole lot of bullshit and now we are losing people to that "cause" (if you can call it that). I guess the police had to help protect some people in Flint who were protesting because people driving by where throwing shit at them from their cars...
Not too surprising, we do live in Flint; were the good ol' boys are all about waving American flags and mindlessly going along with what ever is force fed to them.

How can you ask for freedom when you will be killed if you do? reverend_flash March 21 2003, 05:47:22 UTC
Fact: Saddum has anyone that goes agianst him and ask for liberation killed. Their lives raped and killed along with their children. Then he has them killed as well, Example of this is the Kurders he had them chemical bombed because they stood agianst him. How can you ask for freedom when you know it will only kill you and your family. When we protest agiasnt war it means we support this if we lift scantions and let Saddum continue to dodge resoulutions. Adventually one day he will come back and attack the only reason he hasn't been able to is because we have kept his power down with the 1991 war. That is what crippled him but he has prusued decetifully to take on trying to get weapons. He has already shot Scuds doomed illeagle by inspectors, if eh doesn't lie and decet then how is he shooting illeagle weapons he clams he doesn't have.

the facts? fjtbc March 21 2003, 07:59:59 UTC
fact: Everything that we know about iraq comes from one of two sources, either the american media or our governments propaganda, granted saddam is not my idea of the perfect nieghbor, but since when is it all of the sudden our presidents responsibility to dictate regime change? the most powerful man on earth having the power to invade whoever he pleases is far, far more dangerous than saddam right now, especially when the weapons that he desires to produce are the same once that we could level the world several times over with our stockpiles.

and how come us and britain were the only two countries willin to fight for this
and how come the only people willing to start this fight share the same name
it is unclear, to many things do not add up.
we have not yet reached the stage in wich ALL diplomatic attempts have been met
nor will we ever with good ol george in office

Fact: maybe everything you listen to comes from the american media or government propoganda...try listening to BBC..going online to numerous other countries news sites...or talking to people who have lived in Iraq or surrounding middle east countries. Don't assume everything over there is just peachy.

its getting hot in here reverend_flash March 22 2003, 11:46:14 UTC
Fact: UN hasn't done anything to back up their word in 12 years. In these years they have said do this or else and Saddam hasn't and so they put out another do this or else. Finally I think it is up to 45 countries now that say we are going to do the else we said we where going to do. Now, that a country got some ball and did what they said they would everyones got ticked off. The UN hasn't worked in many situations and not jsut Iraq if the UN had it their way man people would negitate thet deaths of thousands of people. Why they stood by and talked people would have died and been torched. Why america because we are the first ones to look past everything and look at the people for once. we are not stopping to look and see what can we gain out of this. When we do gain something and that is the threat of a very big attack in 3-5 years. Won't happne funny that is exactly what saddam said he wanted to do along with his sons. Look, talk, and find articales on everyone that has fled Iraq and made it, you will hear stories the media won't ( ... )
