In all of those “10 things I wish someone told me about birth/babies/the first year/being a mom” articles, not one of them told me that my armpits have breast tissue in them and would become painfully engorged with milk, prompting me to ask my doctor for an armpit amputation. No one told me that when you try to breastfeed, your nipples will crack
