She has now said Dada, bear, and Mama.

I fought really hard to feed Charlotte breastmilk. I stubbornly battled three rounds of mastitis and antibiotics. Many nights of crying in literal pain trying to get clogs out. In all of those “10 things I wish someone told me about birth/babies/the first year/being a mom” articles, not one of them told me that my armpits have breast tissue in them and would become painfully engorged with milk, prompting me to ask my doctor for an armpit amputation. Wow just when I thought it was safe to post. She is 10 months and now screaming and crying for 1-2 hours two to three times a night.
Also, my period also returned. Not having a period for a year and a half was a great perk.

Postpartum anxiety that was brought on by deviations from routine and schedule meant that I did not deviate from routine and schedule. Following wake times meant that her naps were on a rolling basis rather than the same times by the clock every day, so it was essentially impossible to line up appointments with her wake times and naps.
