This was a seamless integration between both canons. You should seriously write more.

I wish I'd be able to write more, but I fear it all the same - really, second fanfic ever and I kill Arthur, make Merlin mad and Dumbledore sad...

No but seriously, thank you for the encouragement, it really means a lot.

Yay for Albus/Gellert and thank you!

From the moment I remembered that Gellert Grindelwald had golden hair, it was clear that Merlin would tell his story only to Dumbledore who had also loved and lost.

(My god, your icon! Is there a bigger picture of it?)

In my head, at least, Merlin and Gellert got along splendidly (that's why Wyllt 'died', it was his way of showing loyalty).

The art is the best thing I have seen for a long time, thank you.

Thank you! I'm very pleased that this fusion (big thanks to harry potter wiki) and Merlin's characterization worked.

One of the best takes on the Merlin/HP thing I have seen. It's a definite pleasure to see some serious, compelling fic in the crossover genre, which is by nature campy (not that I don't enjoy it all the same) but you made some really cool connections and it is very natural and that definitely takes some skill! So I commend you for it.

Thank you for the compliments! It's extremely nice and comforting to hear (from several people, no less) that the crossover felt natural to them too.
