Quatre.

Ivy covered the hollow face of an angel. Beneath my hand the gravestone was still warm from the day. The ruined village had long been abandoned and with it the small graveyard, but not one grave was as old as I. Amidst old tombs my thoughts always stray back to New Orleans. I could almost smell the jasmine and the distant clatter of horses. I ( Read more... )

I wonder why that ring is so important to Vincent-

Figures that Talamasca would get it though-they've been picking up your cast offs forever and filing them away in their vaults.

A museum of vampire trinkets.

I know, I know. David offered it all back to me. I should have said yes. I didn't want it back, but I still should have said yes to see what he did.

Where on earth would you have put it all if you did say yes to David and he did return it all to you? I mean there's gotta be alot of things. Alot of old antique things. I suppose you could have had a giant yard sale maybe made some extra cash that you don't need because you have a kings ransom already in Swiss bank accounts or something.

Does it matter? It would have been swell just to see the smile wiped off his face. Ha.

Yes, Swiss. Also in Bermuda and the Cayman Islands, Luxembourg. Gotta spread it around, that's what Louis says.

Damn, that´s so awesome! What an atmosphere, in such a little story. O.O

So, how is Claude? He looks like the guy from Placebo?

Merci, chere. All the best things happen in graveyards.

Yes, he does look rather like him, in that particular image anyway. I didn't realise until I'd posted it.

You deserve it.

I know. I had good times on graveyards.

I love the pure morning song&video.

Is Claude with you now?

Ah, yes, the tall building. I know it. I love it too.

No, I didn't bring him here, not to Armand, but I did keep him. Louis is going to screw.

I still think the talasmasca need a museologist for their no doubt extensive collection. -grins- But then you would definitely never get back your stuff. Museologists dont give back things...not unless there is a contract.
Anyhoo...so you did keep him. Why? What was it about him?

I have no idea how vast the collection is. Even David didn't show me all of it. There are two subterreanean archives beneath the motherhouse that I know of and they seem endless. You'd have a ball, my darling. They store everything from our letters and junk mail to clothing and furniture. Nothing is beneath their notice. They can strip a house bare.

I know they have the contents of one of my New Orleans houses and quite a store from Paris. They moved in on my rooms in India from a few years back and took all of that. They even have a painting of me. Yeah. Actually, I should take that back. They might well have more.

I did keep him. He's very young, of course, and he knows very little about the world, but he'd got some real resilience. I think he could be a true survivor.

Okay, he's pretty.

Is Claude not the name of the foreman of the crew working on my library in the London house?

You are alive then.

What a ridiculous thing to say. Of course I'm alive.

I spoke with Claude just a few nights ago about the project.

It's often hard to tell. You know, with the interminable silence and all that.

You did? Why?

Oh gosh Lestat sending out selfies is probably the best thing of the day. (except for the recipient of these pictures.)

I had no doubt about this. Sending them to Louis is especially satisfying. You should get Snapchat if you don’t have it already.

Other than that it’s Rome! You gotta see the sights and everything and take lots of pictures.
